The Balmar XT-DF-24-90-K6 alternator from the XT series delivers 90A at 24V and is designed with dual foot/saddle mounting (3.15″) for many diesel engines on larger yachts and motorboats with a 24V electrical system. It is the right choice for anyone looking for a powerful, modern charging solution for their electrical system - also with regard to lithium battery banks and high continuous load.

  • An AltMount© serpentine pulley conversion kit is usually required, unless the engine already has a double V-belt or serpentine pulley
  • For non-adaptive speed indicators, a tachometer signal stabilizer (Balmar 15-TSS) may also be necessary

Individual or as a set - what's the difference?

In the "individual" variant, you receive only the XT-DF-24-90-K6 alternator. The "set" variant also includes the appropriate MC-624 multi-stage regulator for 24V systems, including temperature sensors, so you receive a completely coordinated charging solution from a single source.

Ideal for 24V yachts, motor yachts, catamarans, and commercial vehicles with high energy requirements on board, for example due to bow thrusters, navigation electronics, cooling, or lithium battery banks.
