The Balmar XT-SF-24-90-K6 alternator from the XT series delivers 90A at 24V and was specifically developed for yachts, larger motorboats, and vehicles with 24V electrical systems. For those who want to operate a powerful, modern 24V electrical system today - including a lithium battery bank - this alternator with single-foot/spindle mounting (1-2″) offers a compact, reliable charging solution that can be integrated without extensive modification of the engine mount.

  • Pulley type: K6, 6-groove serpentine pulley

  • Generally, an AltMount© pulley conversion kit for serpentine belts is required, unless the engine already has a dual V-belt or serpentine pulley
  • For non-adaptive speed display, a tachometer signal stabilizer (Balmar 15-TSS) may also be required

Single or as a Set - what's the difference?

In the "single" variant, you receive only the XT-SF-24-90-K6 alternator. In the "set" variant, we also supply the suitable MC-624 multi-stage regulator for 24V systems including temperature sensors - giving you a complete, coordinated charging solution from a single source and saving you the separate procurement of a regulator.

This alternator is particularly suitable for 24V yachts, larger motorboats, catamarans and commercial vehicles with increased power requirements on board, for example due to refrigerators, electronics, bow thrusters or lithium battery banks.
