The Philippi P-Bus-SuperB Interface CBO-SB is a CANopen® interface that transmits voltage, charge/discharge current, and state of charge of SuperB Nomia and Nomada lithium batteries via the P-BUS to the PSL and PSM 2 system monitors.

  • Replaces the installation of a separate shunt, as battery data is read directly from the SuperB battery's BMS
  • For multiple batteries connected in a block, the values of individual batteries and individual cells can be retrieved in addition to the total data
  • Power supply is directly via the CANopen® network – no separate power cable required

The CBO-SB connects SuperB Nomia and Nomada lithium batteries to the Philippi P-BUS system and makes individual cell voltages and other battery analysis data visible on the PSL or PSM 2. Connection to the P-Bus is made via an included M12 T-cable; another M12 T-cable for connection to the CANopen® network is also included in the scope of delivery.

This allows the status of SuperB lithium battery blocks to be closely monitored, conclusions about use and wear to be drawn, and prompt reactions to anomalies in individual cells – ideal for yachts and vehicles with SuperB lithium onboard batteries.

For which batteries is the CBO-SB suitable?

The CBO-SB is designed for SuperB Nomia and Nomada lithium batteries and reads their voltage, current, and state of charge data.

Is an additional shunt required?

No, the CBO-SB reads data directly from the SuperB battery's BMS, thus eliminating the need for a separate shunt installation.

Can I also see the values of individual batteries in a battery block?

Yes, if several batteries are connected in a block, the values of each individual battery and individual cells can be retrieved in addition to the total data.
