The Philippi Battery Monitor BLM2-Set is an onboard monitoring system that displays all battery system information on a 3.5" color touchscreen and can also display it on a compatible chartplotter via the integrated NMEA-2000/SeaTalk-NG interface – suitable for boats, yachts, motorhomes, and vehicles, including for lithium batteries.

The BLM2-Set builds on the proven Philippi BLS/BLM battery monitoring system and displays charge cycles, deep discharges, and the average depth of discharge of the house battery on the 3.5" color touchscreen with automatic brightness adjustment, allowing you to keep track of your battery system's status at all times. An adjustable acoustic alarm warns early of an impending deep discharge.

Especially with lithium battery systems, whose flat discharge curve makes timely voltage cutoff difficult, the potential-free changeover contact of the BLM2-Set in combination with the remote-controlled battery main switch FHR 265 ensures reliable, capacity-dependent energy management and effectively protects the battery from deep discharge.

The BLM2-Set is compatible with the N2K cable for NMEA-2000/SeaTalk-NG connection, the remote-controlled main switch FHR 265, and an additional SHP shunt for solar monitoring.

Is the shunt included in the BLM2-Set?

Yes, the SHE 348 shunt is included and monitors the house and starter batteries.

Can I also monitor my solar system with it?

Yes, with an additional SHP shunt, the BLM2-Set also displays the power and energy yield of a solar system.

What do I need to display battery data on an NMEA-2000 plotter?

An N2K cable is additionally required for this, via which the data is transmitted via the NMEA-2000/SeaTalk-NG interface.

Can I integrate a third battery bank?

Yes, a third battery bank can optionally be added via voltage monitoring.
