The Balmar battery monitor from the SG200 family puts an end to guesswork about the actual state of charge of your onboard batteries. How accurate is the state of charge indicator?

The monitor self-calibrates after a short battery learning phase and then typically achieves an accuracy of 97%. This precision is maintained even as the battery ages – a decisive advantage over simple voltage indicators, whose accuracy diminishes over time.

Which variant is right for me?

The SG200 family is available in three configurations, differing in display and connectivity:

• SG200 – the standard entry-level package with color display, SmartShunt, and SmartLink connection cable. Ideal if you want to read battery data directly on the dashboard or helm.
• SG205 – Battery monitor kit without a color display, but with an integrated Bluetooth® gateway. The right choice if you want to monitor exclusively via the Balmar app on your smartphone or tablet and can do without an additional display.
• SG210 – the complete package consisting of color display, SmartShunt, SmartLink cable, and Bluetooth® gateway. The most flexible solution for those who want to stay informed both via the display and the app, and additionally benefit from convenient firmware updates via the app.
