Fuse Holder for 2x 6 Circuits (BS 5032)
The BS 5032 is an ST-Blade Split-Bus Fuse Holder with two completely separate inputs for six circuits each. It is used when a combination of permanently monitored (24-hour) and switched circuits is required in a marine electrical system – for example, if a bilge pump and alarm system need to be continuously powered, while navigation electronics are only powered when switched on.
Advantages
- 12 circuits in two independent groups of 6 circuits each
- Two separate inputs for continuous and switched circuits, optionally from one or two batteries
- Positive and negative bus bars each equipped with 10-32 studs
- Clear, insulating cover with storage for two spare fuses (ABYC/USCG compliant)
- Push-button latch for quick access to fuses
- Includes 20 customizable circuit labels
Technical Data & Compatibility
- SKU 700105032 (BS 5032), 12 circuits (2x 6), with cover
- Max. System Voltage: 32V DC
- Max. Current: 30A per circuit, 100A total (max. 80A per load group)
- Fuse Type: ATO or ATC blade fuses
- Positive and Negative Bus Bar: 10-32 studs each
When is the BS 5032 Split-Bus Fuse Holder worthwhile?
The BS 5032 is worthwhile as soon as an on-board electrical system requires both permanent circuits (e.g., bilge pump, alarm, clock) and circuits switched via the main switch (e.g., navigation devices, lighting, radio), and both groups should remain electrically separate.
