The PowerBar1000 1990 busbar (Blue Sea Systems BS 1990) is a high-load busbar made of tin-plated, high-purity electrolytic copper for 1000 A, serving as a central connection point for large and small conductors in complex on-board networks. The stepped busbar design with two connection levels ensures significantly higher connection density than conventional busbars.
Advantages
- Tin-plated high-purity electrolytic copper for maximum conductivity
- Stepped busbar design with two levels doubles the possible conductor density compared to classic busbars
- Connection heights suitable for common fuse holder blocks – multiple fuse blocks can be directly attached without additional connecting cables
- One-piece serrated flange nuts for secure main connections
- Additional #8-32 stainless steel screws with fixed lock washers for smaller conductor cross-sections
- Busbar can be shortened if space is limited
- Bidirectional end caps allow multiple PowerBar1000 busbars to be ganged together
- Plug-in insulating cover meets ABYC/USCG requirements, with recess for labeling

What is the PowerBar1000 1990 suitable for?
The PowerBar1000 1990 is suitable for large, complex on-board networks where both main lines with 3/8" ring terminals and numerous smaller control and auxiliary lines are to be brought together at a single, clear collection point – for example, as a central positive or ground busbar with directly attached fuse blocks. If even higher demand arises, multiple PowerBar1000 busbars can be ganged together via the end caps.
For professional 1000 A power distribution with high connection density, the PowerBar1000 1990 is the ideal solution.
