The Philippi lever terminal HKL is a double-sided color-coded, potential-isolated connection terminal for tool-free extension and branching of cables in the onboard installation of yachts, motorhomes, and vehicles.

The HKL lever terminal from Philippi connects cables in the onboard installation safely and without crimping or soldering tools – simply open the lever, insert the conductor, close the lever. Available as HKL 2-2 (2-pole), HKL 3-3 (3-pole), HKL 4-4 (4-pole), and HKL 5-5 (5-pole) for the appropriate number of wires.

Do I need wire end ferrules for the HKL lever terminal?

No, they are not absolutely necessary: up to 4 mm² is permissible without a ferrule, and up to 2.5 mm² with a ferrule, depending on the conductor used.
