The Philippi P-Bus Temperature Interface TPC 4 is a module that integrates up to four temperature sensors (Temp-HT or Temp-BT) into the P-BUS on-board monitoring system and displays the values on the PSL/PSM system monitors.

  • Up to four TPC 4 modules can be operated simultaneously on the P-BUS – up to 16 measuring points in the same on-board network
  • Individual alarm thresholds per sensor, e.g., for cooler, engine compartment, or battery compartment
  • In combination with the CMR4 relay module, temperature-dependent actions can be switched automatically

The TPC 4 records temperature values via pluggable screw terminals and is connected to the P-BUS using the included M12-T cable. In combination with the Temp-BT sensors (water/air temperature, –30 to +70 °C) and Temp-HT sensors (up to +250 °C, e.g., for exhaust gas or alternator temperature), it covers typical monitoring tasks in the on-board network. If a measured value exceeds the defined limit, the Philippi system reports an alarm message on the on-board monitor.

The TPC 4 is part of the Philippi P-BUS system and is compatible with the PSL and PSM system monitors as well as the CMR4 relay module for automated switching operations.

How many temperature sensors can I connect to a TPC 4?

Up to 4 temperature sensors (Temp-HT or Temp-BT) can be connected per TPC 4; up to four TPC 4 modules can be operated simultaneously on the P-BUS.

Can something be switched automatically if a limit value is exceeded?

Yes, individual limit values can be defined for each sensor; additionally, temperature-dependent actions can be switched via the CMR4 relay module.

Is a connection cable included?

Yes, an M12-T cable is included in the scope of delivery.
