The Philippi master switch CH 16A 291 is a 0-1 cam switch for mounting in front panels, which allows circuits in 230 V on-board networks of boats and vehicles to be switched manually.

The CH 16A 291 belongs to the Philippi series of cam switches for individual retrofitting in 230 V systems and serves as a simple master switch (switching function 0-1), e.g. for disconnecting shore power or generator. For front panels with a wall thickness of more than 5 mm, for example when installing in a wooden wall, the Leer CA blank plate (order no. 0 2900 2060) is also recommended, which considerably simplifies installation.

What do I do with thicker walls, e.g. wood?

For greater wall thicknesses, the Leer CA blank plate is used, which simplifies the mounting of a cam switch, for example, in a wooden wall.
