The Bow/Stern Switch CAG 20 BH from philippi is a manual changeover switch for onboard power distribution that switches between two shore power inlets at the bow and stern of a yacht and keeps the unused connector de-energized.

If shore power connectors are installed both at the bow and stern, a two-pole changeover switch or an automatic changeover relay must safely separate the two feeds. Without such a switch, the unplugged pin contacts are under mains voltage – a life-threatening hazard. The philippi Bow/Stern Switch CAG 20 BH reliably performs this task in AC onboard electrical systems up to 25 A.
