MRCE 25A-200A Surface Mount Circuit Breaker

The MRCE is the surface mount version of Blue Sea Systems' 187 Series circuit breaker, designed to protect high-current DC loads such as electric winches or electric motors. Unlike the panel-mount MRCB model, the MRCE is mounted directly on a surface without a cutout and is also suitable as a main fuse for larger battery banks due to its high breaking capacity.

Which amperage variant is suitable for which consumer?

The lower amperage levels (25A-60A) are suitable for medium consumers such as bow thrusters or smaller electric motors, the medium levels (70A-120A) for anchor windlasses and larger drives, while the upper levels (150A-200A) are designed as main fuses for the entire battery bank in larger onboard electrical systems.
