The Philippi RKL 10/20 terminal block is a rail-mounted terminal strip for fuse and distribution boxes, with which several consumer circuits can be wired safely and in accordance with standards on board yachts, motorhomes and vehicles.

  • Reduces cable cross-sections in a controlled manner from the main circuit to the individual consumer leads – in compliance with DIN EN ISO 13297
  • Two sizes (RKL 10 with 10, RKL 20 with 20 consumer terminals) for different sized on-board power systems
  • Recommended by Philippi as an accessory for the Series 200 circuit distributors
  • Stable rail mounting for tidy, maintenance-friendly control panels

In the on-board installation of yachts, motorhomes and off-road vehicles, cable cross-sections often have to be reduced when transitioning from the main circuit to the individual consumers. The Philippi RKL terminal block safely and clearly handles this transition on the DIN rail and is, according to the manufacturer's catalog, the recommended terminal block for practically all STV-200 series circuit distributors.

The RKL 10 offers 10 consumer terminal pairs (6x4 / 4x6 mm²), one 16 mm² connection terminal for the positive pole and one 35 mm² (Cu rail) connection terminal for the negative pole. The larger RKL 20 has 20 consumer terminals of 4 mm² each, two bridged 35 mm² connection terminals for the positive pole and one 35 mm² (Cu rail) connection terminal for the negative pole.

Compatibility: According to the Philippi catalog, the RKL 10 is recommended for the circuit distributors STV 202 MS, STV 208, STV 210, STV 204 SY, STV 207 USD, STV 232, STV 244, among others; the RKL 20 for STV 220, STV 238, STV 258 and MPE 202. For distributors with higher consumer current (e.g. STV 235/255, STV 236/256), Philippi recommends the RKL 16/4, for the STV 264 the RKL 30 – please enquire separately if required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which size is suitable for my circuit distributor?
This depends on the number of circuits: For smaller distributors with up to approx. 14 circuits, Philippi usually recommends the RKL 10; for larger distributors with many circuits, the RKL 20.

Can the RKL be retrofitted into an existing on-board electrical system?
Yes, the RKL simply clips onto a DIN rail in the fuse or distribution box and can therefore also be retrofitted.
