The NAV-GMDSS control panel by Philippi is designed specifically for use with GMDSS radio equipment on commercial vessels. It protects 3 circuits, monitors and charges the GMDSS battery, and provides a water alarm for 4 compartments.

The Philippi NAV-GMDSS control panel reliably powers and monitors the GMDSS radio system of commercial vessels: Three two-pole thermal circuit breakers protect the associated circuits, while an LED indicator (OK / Fault) reports the status of the GMDSS battery. An integrated 15 A DC/DC charger charges the GMDSS battery, and a rechargeable 9-V battery powers the alarm system independently of the onboard electrical system.

The NAV-GMDSS is supplied with a 1 m long, protected wiring harness for the GMDSS control unit, and features connection via 2.5 mm² screw terminals and output for 2 external alarms.
