The Philippi NAV 230 control panel is a DC main control panel for complex on-board networks on commercial vessels, securing up to 30 two-pole circuits and monitoring the on-board network via a PSM3 monitor with insulation test.
- Equipped individually according to customer requirements – number and rated current of thermal circuit breakers freely selectable
- Ground fault monitoring via PSM3 monitor ensures early fault detection in the on-board network
- Main connection already prepared for main fuse and SHX shunt – saves time during system expansion
- Integrated USB charging socket directly on the panel
The Philippi NAV 230 is designed as a DC main panel with a terminal block for commercial vessels where numerous consumer circuits need to be centrally distributed and secured. Up to 30 two-pole circuits are protected by thermal circuit breakers, which combine switches and fuses in one component and are immediately ready for use again in the event of a fault, without needing a fuse change.
The integrated PSM3 monitor monitors the on-board network for ground faults via an insulation test – an important safety feature on commercial vessels. The NAV 230 can be expanded with a main fuse and the SHX shunt for current measurement via the prepared main connection if required. Wiring to the terminal block is done via a 1 m long cable harness with 2.5 mm² screw terminals.

The NAV 230 is part of the Philippi control panel series for commercial vessels and can be combined with the SHX shunt and the PSM3 system monitor for central on-board network monitoring via the prepared main connection.
What does the NAV 230's PSM3 monitor monitor?
The integrated PSM3 monitor monitors the on-board network via an insulation test (ground fault monitoring).
Is an SHX shunt additionally required for the NAV 230?
Not necessarily: The main connection of the NAV 230 is already prepared for the integration of a main fuse and an SHX shunt, so this can be added if required.
How many circuits can be protected with the NAV 230?
Up to 30 two-pole circuits with thermal circuit breakers, equipped individually according to customer requirements.
Is a USB charging socket already integrated?
Yes, the NAV 230 has an integrated USB charging socket.
We will be happy to advise you on questions regarding individual equipment and compatibility with SHX shunt or PSM3.
