The NAV 212 control panel is a lantern monitoring panel from Philippi for the 12-/24V onboard power supply of commercial vessels, which fuses 12 two-pole circuits and individually monitors the associated navigation lights for failure.
- Early failure warning per lantern increases safety in the dark and in areas with high traffic density
- Central distribution and fusing of 12 circuits saves space in the switch cabinet
- Switch for two battery banks provides redundancy in the onboard power supply
- External alarm output can be integrated into bridge monitoring
The Philippi NAV 212 control panel was developed for navigation light monitoring on commercial vessels. Each of the 12 monitored navigation lights is individually checked for bulb or LED failure or cable interruption; a fault is immediately signaled by an LED indicator and optionally by an external alarm. The signal LEDs can be adjusted to the ambient brightness via an integrated dimmer.
The NAV 212 is supplied with a 1 m long wiring harness to the junction box, connected via 2.5 mm² screw terminals. DNV approval for the NAV series is in preparation; separate approval documentation can be requested from Philippi.
