Alternators specifically designed for use with Yanmar 6LY series diesel engines, and engineered for use with external multi-stage voltage regulation. This allows charging voltage to be adjusted to maximize safety and efficiency when recharging a wide variety of battery types.

Featuring a 3.15-inch saddle mount, the 94LY alternator can replace the stock internally regulated OEM alternator in Yanmar’s 6LY series engines and other engines with similar mounting and belt configurations. Custom wound rotor/stator combinations optimize performance across the typical diesel power band. Isolated ground provides safe continuity to system ground. 94LY Series Alternators include: 165-Amp/12-Volt; 210-Amp/12-Volt; and 140-Amp/24-Volt models.
