The Energy Management Box reduces high-current wiring around the engine and battery system to a minimum. It takes over the complete charge and energy management of a modern single-engine yacht with up to 3 battery banks (starter, house, and bow batteries) and additional alternative charging sources (solar, wind, and hydro generators). Even the DC connection of a combi inverter is taken into account.

The EM-box integrates:

    • 10 high-power shunts
    • Alternator charge current distributor
    • 3 remote-controlled battery master switches
    • Deep discharge protection
    • Charge current distribution for battery charger, solar system, wind generator, hydro generator
    • Ground busbar
    • Main fuse for the onboard electrical system
    • Engine emergency start via house battery
    • Manual emergency operation of the main switches
  • P-Bus interface for system monitor PSM
