The new RCBO with AFDD trip unit combines electromechanical residual current and line protection with microprocessor-controlled fault arc protection. The AFDD fire circuit breaker is able to minimize the risk of fire caused by electrical systems.
With the fire protection switch, the voltage and current curves over time are measured. With electric arcs there are high-frequency sections in the current course. The integrated microcontroller evaluates the data and switches off the circuit in case of a fault.
Serial arcs (crushing and kinking of cables, damaged insulation and loose contacts) and parallel arcs (insulation problems between L to N or PE) are detected.
Shore power connection unit for 230 V/50 Hz supply. Circuits are connected inside to the clamps of the automatic double pole RCBO-AFDD unit. Cable lead with grommets. Watertight full plastic housing with flap cover. Protective system IP 65.
