Battery charger (Automatik Charger)

The automatic charger series targets today's requirements of electrical systems at yachts. They are just designed for operations in vehicles and similar ranges of application. Up to three separately supervised outputs is possible so simultaneous charging of the starter, consumer and bow thruster/windlass batteries. The IUoUoU charging characteristic ensures the charge of open-lead batteries, GEL batteries and also AGM batteries by DIP-switch selection. By means of external temperature sensors for each battery system the charging voltage is adapted accurately to the battery temperature and always provides optimal load results.

The compact models of automatic charger AL Series 12/10, 12/15 AL and AL 24/8 are designed specifically for small plants up to 2 battery groups (service-starter and battery) and capacities of up to 150 Ah. The compact dimensions and plug connectors facilitate the rapid installation. An optional temperature sensor can be connected to all models as well (except AL 12/10) the control panel FAL and the digital charging monitor LCM or BLM. Noise free convection cooling.

The charger AL 12/15 FI was designed especially for small installations. It is based on the technique of automatic charger AL and combined with shore power connector. This reduces the installation procedure, as only the unit and a shore power connector is needed. The RCB/MCB device and the socket are in the front side. Another connection in the back output enables the safe connection of further consumers 230 V/50 Hz.

The high power chargers for bigger battery groups are designed for maximum use of a single-phase shore power connection of 16A.. You can choose between four different charging characteristics (open-lead, Gel, AGM). The maximum charging power can be changed (reduced) in four steps. To prevent the blowing of the shore fuse by high starting currents a softstart-function is built-in. An internal cooling fan protects the charger from overheat.

The BLM I combines the functions of the BCM monitor and charging monitor LCM and is designed to connect to the automatic charger series AL (15 A or higher). In addition to the functions of the BCM are the controls from the LCM, as current limiting in low shore power supply, activation of sleep mode and the setup functions. For existing shore power connection by the automatic charger AL, the BLM shows the charging current, the battery voltage and any error messages (over temperature, temperature error ...) of the charger.
